Stavros A. Nikou


is a Lecturer in Digital Education at the School of Education, University of Strathclyde, UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems focusing on Learning Technologies from the University of Macedonia - Greece, a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Houston (CL) - USA and a B.Sc. in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests include technology-enhanced teaching and learning, context-aware mobile learning and assessment, online and blended learning, teacher education and innovative emerging technologies to support STEM education. He teaches Learning Technologies and supervises postgraduate students within the School of Education. He has published in several high-impact academic journals and has been member of the scientific committee in several top ranking international conferences. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Senior member of IEEE.
