Veronica Donoso



is a senior researcher at the Centre for User Experience Research (CUO) at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. She completed her Master’s degree in educational sciences (University of Chile) in 2000 and her PhD in communication sciences (Catholic University of Leuven) in 2007. Since 2002 Verónica has been researching use-related risks and the developmental and social impacts of adolescents’ internet use. She is currently involved in Belgian and European projects about users’ experience of new digital applications, with a focus on technology-enhanced learning, social relationships and the development of identity.
